American Sign Language (ASL) Classes

The O’Neal Library is pleased to offer a series of eight one-hour classes on beginning ASL. ASL, or  American Sign Language, is a manual language distinct from spoken English. This free class will be offered throughout the year on the dates below. Our teacher, Gillian May, is currently a teacher at the Alabama School for Deaf and Blind and an enthusiastic teacher of ASL! 

Upcoming ASL Sessions

Sign language classes are taught live, via Zoom, on Tuesday evenings at 5:30.      


Fall 2025

The Fall 2025 session registration is now closed.

Register for the classes with your first name, last name, and a valid email address where you would like to receive the weekly Zoom meeting link.
