Celebrate Creative Writing!

Our local teens have worked hard on their poetry this January and February! Celebrate their creativity and achievements at this reading hosted at the O'Neal Library.

This event includes:

  • Poetry readings from teens who participated in the YA Poetry Workshop series.
  • Words from Miriam Calleja Shaw, an internationally published poet.
  • Free spread of reception foods for all attendees.
  • IF TIME ALLOWS, an Open Mic session.

This program is for all ages. Registration is APPRECIATED. Got questions? Email young adult librarians at teens@oneallibrary.org. Special thanks to the Friends of the O'Neal Library for supporting the Young Adult Poetry Workshop and to Miriam Calleja Shaw for cultivating the teens' unique voices.
